Joining is easy! Simply fill out our membership form and commit to donating $100 at each of our three annual giving events. By becoming a member of 100 Women Who Care Bennington, you'll be part of a group of women dedicated to supporting local nonprofits and making a real difference in the Bennington community.

Any woman who is passionate about supporting local nonprofits and making a difference in the Bennington community is welcome to join. We encourage women of all ages and backgrounds to be part of our giving circle. You do not have to live in Bennington to be in our group.

Each member commits to donating $300 per year. We encourage you to set up a recurring monthly donation of $25, or you can choose to donate $100 at each of our 3 giving events. Every dollar goes directly to the nonprofit selected by the group at each event. Members set up and pay their donation through the Bennington Community Foundation website. We do also accept checks for payment.

Members can nominate local nonprofits before each giving event. Three organizations are randomly selected to present, and after hearing from each one, members vote. The nonprofit with the most votes receives the combined donations from our group. You can nominate a nonprofit by submitting this nomination form.

Bennington and Omaha area charities are eligible to be nominated.

If you are unable to attend a meeting, you are still responsible for making your $100 donation. Automatic payments make this easy for our members! We encourage members to be present at the event to vote; however, absentee votes will be accepted in advance of giving events for those unable to attend in person who still wish to cast their vote.

100 Women Who Care Bennington operates as part of the Bennington Community Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations are processed through the Foundation, ensuring that contributions are tax-deductible and properly managed. Partnering with the Bennington Community Foundation allows us to focus fully on supporting local nonprofits while maintaining transparency, accountability, and trust within our giving circle.

In addition to our giving events, we host one volunteer event each year where members can give their time to support local nonprofits hands-on. Members can also help by nominating nonprofits, encouraging friends to join, and spreading the word about 100 Women Who Care Bennington.

Absolutely! Guests are welcome to attend a giving event to learn more about 100 Women Who Care Bennington. If they decide to join, they’ll be asked to complete a membership form and commit to the $100 donation for that event.
